The Mastery of Love

Firstly let me remind you this Sunday will be an amazing opportunity to learn about so many ways to remove any interference to Love’s Presence I hope you join us at our Open House and bring LOTS of your friends!

I have been touched deeply these past few weeks by a convergence of events that made the words I read in A Course in Miracles extremely impacting. I have shared portions of this the past couple of weeks as I made the point that fear comes from thoughts and unless a person is undivided in their decision to deny the hold fear has upon them and take responsibility for it’s correction, your Higher Power cannot intervene as it would violate the basic law of cause and effect and depreciate the power of your thinking. Fear is a mis-creation of the divisive ego mind that you as the Decision Maker chose to empower. Fear is a state of forgetfulness of your true state as a holy innocent child of God,forever pure and free. Fear arises from a lack of love as the wrong minded thoughts of scarcity and guilt are placed in the position of power to defend against any opposition to it’s beliefs.

I have watched my mind closely these past few weeks as it sought to draw me in to it’s clever tricks flashing the recent loss of my mother every time a Mother’s day commercial played on TV. I observed how old yearnings of recently broken relationships that caused me disappointment and pain were being flung in my face at the oddest moments when I saw a couple lovingly holding hands, kissing or having fun as “we used to”. I could feel my vulnerability as I meditated and got in touch with a myriad of unfulfilled wishes and dreams I have nurtured a good part of my life hoping to find that perfect partner. I was so grateful to have the tools I did so I could immediately pause, step back and allow a deep inner correction of my wrong mindedness to take place. I forgave myself for forgetting I am whole and complete as I am, for I am that infinite space of knowledge and love that is the very essence of life.This is the path to mastery!

I know this might sound like gobbly-gook to some of you and I understand how you could think this, but in truth I can only say that seeing my experience this way and taking these healing actions really works for me..and for the thousands of people I have taught it to based on A Course in Miracles and Quantum Psychology principles. For me these are the  lessons I have been learning all my life and continue to be given opportunities to learn the mastery of love! The mastery of love is an ongoing process. I know I  keep putting myself into situations that seek love where its not. I am in touch with this voice within that says finding that “special someone”  would be the crowning accomplishment of my life to finally “show God” I have found the “one” to then live happily ever after!

Oh…how those fairy tales we were all raised with can become such strong desires, demands, hopes and dreams we strive for so we could live happily ever after! If only we could hear the ego’s muffled snickering as it convinces us that there is something outside us we are missing and must get to live a fulfilled life! The path to love’s mastery begins when we realize “it just ain’t so!”. “What gets us into trouble is not what we don’t know, it’s what we know for sure, that just ain’t so!”

Every belief we form that is not based on our unchanging eternal nature that we are love and ARE whole and complete as we are NOW ”just ain’t so” and we have to correct them to be free of their influence. Each value must be faced, embraced and traced to it’s origin to be replaced with the grace of our eternal truth that we are now and will always be the pure, free and forever essence of love and light that we were created in! This is the mastery of love when despite all efforts that encourage attachments to worldly things and exalted beliefs to get what you desire and feel you deserve, you step back and smile remembering you are the love you are looking for and so is everyone else! Mastery begins as we deny any power fear or guilt has  to bind us and while in an empowered state of peace ,ask for correction. Doing this we get in touch with the altar in our heart that holds the memory of this truth and activate it to  become free!

The mastery of love is developed as we refuse to accept anything that isn’t love as true. As the Course begins, only love is true and nothing untrue exists, therefore it is our journey to retrain ourselves along these lines gently smiling on our silly ego mind as it attempts to tell us anything different.

This will be our focus in both Wednesday meditation and A Course in Miracles this week as I begin to share a variety of effective techniques for gaining greater mastery of love! Of course Sunday all day we will show you many other fun ways to grow and heal as well!
